Cleanroom Monitoring and Alarming Using a DAQ and Control System

Delphin TopMessage Data Logger Records All Values and Provides Secure Storage
CHESTERLAND OH—January 21, 2013

DAQ and Control DeviceCAS DataLoggers recently provided a Delphin TopMessage data logger for a Cleanroom Monitoring and Alarming application in a major hospital which needed a DAQ and control system to record extensive cleanroom measurement data including pressure, temperature, air humidity and particle counts. Users also needed the system to control the cleanroom alarm horns and ‘traffic’ lights indicating current door lock status, running on user-friendly analysis and control software which could setup a secure measurement database storing all logged values. Air Valve Testing to Streamline a Manufacturing Line Throughput

CAS DataLoggers recently provided the data acquisition and control solution for a factory supervisory team looking to solve a quality control problem on their main manufacturing line. Their process was experiencing issues from a valve controlling an air jet used to blow faulty-looking components off the line after they failed an optical inspection. However, these parts often kept moving down the line rather than being immediately rejected as intended. The team contacted CAS DataLoggers to suggest an ideal DAQ system. Validating Brake Performance on a Prototype Passenger Car

CAS DataLoggers recently supplied an advanced DAQ system for an automotive manufacturer who needed to evaluate the reliability of a prototype vehicle’s braking system. The front disk pad temperatures, MPH, average deceleration and braking duration all needed to be recorded immediately before the brakes were applied. Therefore the customer needed a data acquisition device which could quickly ‘drill down’ on the braking event’s data and store the data on external RAM, and which also offered flexible communications capabilities with a PC.
